Little Indian Chef

We went on a family day trip to the beach in Wales, and on our way back we came across Little Indian Chef at the service area. We decided to stop for dinner, and it was such a good choice! The food was really tasty, the staff were super friendly, and the place had a cozy vibe. Our kids loved it too. We’ll definitely come back next time we head to Wales.

We visited the Little Indian Chef while staying at Bron Y Wendon. It was only a 10 minute walk so seemed like the perfect place to finish our long drive from Yorkshire. The staff were very pleasant and the atmosphere was very welcoming and cosy. We ordered starters, sides and curries and enjoyed everything we ordered. We would recommend visiting here if you are staying in the nearby caravan sites or just passing by.

I read on a previous review that this was a hidden gem, and it really is a gem. We've recently had curries in both Manchester and York, but the Little Indian Chef knocks the spots of those. Super tasty food and friendly staff. We're already planning to have a takeaway from there later this week.

Excellent little Indian restaurant. The food was fantastic. Super friendly staff that made you feel welcomed. It was a little more expensive than our usual Indian. We would probably go more often if it wasn't so expensive. But well worth the visit. If you are ever in the area, I would highly recommend popping in here for an excellent Indian. You will not be disappointed. Just tell them that Big Kev sent you, and you will get 10% off!

October 2025 — Vegetarian Had dinner at India Little Chef – Conway, Wales, and it was a really good experience overall. • Chapati – 5/5 — perfect, just like we make at home. • Bhindi Bhaji – 4/5 — nicely cooked and tasty. • Tarka Dal – 2.5/5 — too simple; could use a bit more flavour. • Garlic Coriander Naan – 3.5/5 — fine but not great. • Cucumber Raita – don’t ask! Just sliced cucumber over plain yogurt — no seasoning at all. Papadom - spiced with chutney salad — 4/5 Ambience: really good — clean, cosy, and comfortable. Service: excellent — friendly staff and very quick service. Value: fair prices for the quality and portion size. Adding some food and bill photos as reference. Overall, a pleasant experience — especially if you miss homemade-style chapatis while in Wales! ++ there is waiting hall, where people were waiting while we about to leave. Around 7 PM weekend

Great restaurant, very clean with food hygiene rating of 5, food was fantastic. Service was very quick, staff very friendly and helpful. Ordered the st meal for 2 which was £50. There was that much we had to get a doggie bag & brought it him & there was plenty left for our dinner the next day. Plenty of parking.
